TANOMA is a growing, Finnish-owned logistics group that offers its customers efficient and flexible solutions for their warehousing and container transport needs. We are a multi-skilled logistics company, operating in two mutually supporting business areas: warehousing and container transport. TANOMA owns several forwarding, logistics and transport companies.
The group includes Warasto, which offers services through a warehousing service network covering the entire southern part of Finland, and MEK-Trans, which specializes in inland transport of sea containers in Finland. The company also has an office in Tallinn.
TANOMA was founded in 1998, and our operations are based on almost 30 years of experience in the logistics industry. Today, we focus on the logistics markets in Finland and the Baltic Sea region. Our group is growing both organically and through considered acquisitions. In recent years, we have carried out numerous corporate restructurings.
The companies in the group have deep expertise in logistics services, which enables our customers to develop their own business. We help our customers find the best and most efficient logistics solutions for them.

MEK-Trans specializes in inland transport of sea containers and special transport. With over 30 years of experience, MEK-Trans has established itself as one of the largest logistics companies in Finland providing inland transport services. The company has been part of the TANOMA Group since 2024.
Warasto
Warasto is a domestic company focused on warehousing and value-added logistics services. Warasto operates in Southern Finland and Tallinn. The company’s services streamline material flows and support its customers’ entire logistics chain – even in the most demanding needs. Warasto has been part of the TANOMA Group since 2024.
TANOMA as an investor
TANOMA is a profitably and responsibly developing group. Our group grows both organically and through considered acquisitions. We are interested in companies with a turnover of 1–20 million euros and which we can support with our expertise, networks or customer base – domestically or internationally.
Our investments focus on logistics and warehousing services and related technology, real estate and various additional services. We make investments from our own balance sheet and in cooperation with our domestic investment partners.
