Responsibility is a central part of our business. Responsible logistics is the starting point for our daily work, not a separate project. We are constantly developing our responsibility work, focusing on what we can influence in a concrete and measurable way: financial, environmental and social responsibility. Our goal is to be one of the most responsible companies in our industry.

Financial responsibility

For Warasto, financial stability and profitability are the basis of responsible business. We are part of the TANOMA Group, whose strategic development work also supports Warasto’s future growth. We operate in accordance with the Group’s principles of good corporate governance.

We foster long-term customer relationships that support predictable and sustainable operations. Profitable business enables continuous investments in storage solutions, system development and personnel expertise.

Environmental responsibility

At Warasto, environmental responsibility is reflected in concrete actions in warehouse operations, space planning and energy solutions. Our locations are located in logistically central locations, which enables smooth and environmentally sound transport. All of our warehouses are modern and utilize renewable energy where possible. Half of our warehouses currently utilize 100% renewable energy.

We are systematically developing our operations towards more responsible storage solutions as part of the TANOMA Group’s responsibility work. We are currently building a dashboard that will allow us to monitor the effectiveness of our environmental actions more systematically.

Social responsibility

For us, social responsibility is above all about taking care of people – whether it is an employee, customer or partner.

Each of our employees has a clear role and goals, sufficient support in everyday work and a genuine opportunity for professional development. Concrete opportunities for development include training, internal transfers and job rotation.

The TANOMA Group’s common HR practices support the well-being of Warasto’s employees. Well-being at work is reflected in our strategy and at a practical level. Among other things, TANOMA has a staff wise group consisting of staff representatives, which acts as an advisor to management in change work. We also have a modern HR system in use, which helps us monitor employee well-being and react in a timely manner.

Diversity is not just a value proposition, but a genuine strength in the continuous change of our operating environment. A diverse team promotes examining new opportunities and challenges from different perspectives and finding truly unique solutions. At TANOMA, everyone is allowed to be themselves – regardless of background, age, gender or life situation. We have zero tolerance for discrimination and bullying.

Social responsibility also extends beyond our organization. We build partnerships based on common rules of the game – whether it is a supplier, training partner or subcontractor.
